- SENOKOT® For Women is a natural laxative for gentle overnight relief of occasional constipation. The tablets are coated for ease of swallowing. The natural senna used in SENOKOT® For Women is extracted from the deseeded and dried pods of the Senna Alexandrina flower. Senna has been used as a natural laxative for thousands of years to relieve constipation. SENOKOT® For Women works by enhancing the body’s natural wave-like contractions in the colon (peristalsis) to help promote a bowel movement. SENOKOT® For Women typically takes effect in 6-12 hrs and can be taken at bedtime for gentle overnight relief of occasional constipation.
- ADULTS: 2-4 tablets once or twice daily, preferably at bedtime. Per Tablet Dose: 8.6 mg standardized sennosides from natural senna Max Daily Dose: 68.8 mg standardized sennosides CHILDREN AGE 6-12: 1-2 tablets once or twice daily, preferably at bedtime. Per Tablet Dose: 8.6 mg standardized sennosides from natural senna Max Daily Dose: 34.4 mg standardized sennosides SENOKOT® For Women typically takes effect in 6-12 hrs, it is preferably taken at bedtime to help promote a morning bowel movement when experiencing occasional constipation.
