The wine is very full-bodied and dense, firm and solid; a powerful red with serious depth and savouriness. Totally lip-smacking, the tannins coating the mouth and contributing to a very long, appetising aftertaste. Impressive stuff. Will be long-lived. (66% shiraz, 34% mataro. Matured in older hogsheads.)
