Bible prophecy is a divine revelation or message inspired by God. Prophets have delivered messages from God as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. Consequently, no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, for prophecy never came by the will of man, but by holy men of God. Dispensationalism is the method of interpreting history according to how God divides his work and purposes towards mankind. There are seven major periods of time all total.
