The Moon will be the second gemstone in the necklace of human civilisation. Thus spoke the Prophet of Quantum Dawn, and the world moved to do his will. Paradise on the moon. But when the lunar survey team touches down in 2059, they discover they’re not the first to have this idea. Among the surveyors is young scientist Rita Corby, eager to prove herself worthy of being chosen for this prestigious mission. But as she and the team investigate the remains of the previous visitors, and the tragedies of the past begin to repeat, she finds herself torn between doing what’s best for her career, and doing what’s best for her team.
