Happy End is a small Cotswold village set beneath Barrow Hill. The nearest town is Barrow Magna. In previous books in this series, 'The Witch at Happy End' and 'More Witchery at Happy End' we followed the adventures of Annabel, the wise woman of the village. In this book we find more stories about the inhabitants of Barrow Magna. Beginning with two elderly ladies who go to Venice to learn how to paint a mural in the local church, the stories tell of village life, love and adventure.
