Stubby is a true story of a pelican that was caught in a discarded mess of fishing lines and hooks in the beautiful waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Stubby was rescued by Rusty, a longtime native of Pass-a-Grille, an island community where he managed a fish bait shop.
