From the Niagara Peninsula wine region, Sue-Ann Staff Mountain Bell 2018 Merlot is named after the Staff's family 'mountain bell,' a very rare cold-weather bell made in Birmingham England in 1869. Look for rich blackcurrant, dark cherry and smoky, spiced plum on this dry, full-bodied, velvety red. The wine was matured 20 months in French oak barrels. Pour with a crown roast of pork. Drink: 2022-2026. Score - 90.
