The bilingual text accompanies charming, innocent folk art pictures of angel children outside with birds and animals, playing by the pond or holding hands. The illustrations are drawn by North Carolina outsider artist Addie James, the text is written by her friend, Ruth Pittard, and the story is translated into Spanish by Dr. Magdalena Maiz-Pena of Davidson College. All three people value cross-cultural communication that emphasizes our loving common bonds and hope that this simple book in two languages will teach, in a very easy way, our inter-connectedness.
