Allen and his friends hurry to escape the Viktor Empire, but they are apprehended at the last minute by a familiar young man begging for their help. He introduces himself as Curtis, Anriette’s cousin, and asks for assistance in rescuing her after the empire arrested her, believing her to be the ringleader in the plot to kill the emperor.
