The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1985, volume 3, contains messages given by Brother Witness Lee from July 4 through September 28, 1985. At the beginning of June Brother Lee returned to Anaheim, California, from Taipei, Taiwan, and, except for a brief visit to Berkeley, California, at the end of August, he remained in Anaheim until the end of September. Eight messages given in Chinese in Anaheim, California, on July 31 through September 18. These messages were previously published in Chinese and English in a book entitled The Living Needed for Building Up the Small Group Meetings. They are included in this volume under the same title. 3. Eight messages given in Anaheim, California, on August 2 through September 20. These messages were edited into seven chapters and were previously published in a book entitled The Home Meetings--the Unique Way for the Increase and the Building Up of the Church. They are included in this volume under the same title. 4. A message given in Chinese in Anaheim, California, on August 12. This message was translated into English and is included in this volume under the title The Proper Service to God in the Church. 5. A message given in Chinese in Anaheim, California, on August 19. This message was translated into English and is included in this volume under the title The Proper Vision and Practice of the Young People in the Lord's Recovery. 6. Seven messages given in Berkeley, California, on August 29 through September 2. These messages are included in this volume under the title Perfecting the Saints to Speak for the Lord for the Building Up of the Church. 7. Five messages given in Berkeley, California, on August 30 through September 2. These messages were previously published in a book entitled The Divine Speaking and are included in this volume under the same title. 8. A message given in Berkeley, California, on August 31. This message is included in this volume under the title The Need for the Young People to Function in the Meetings. 9. Nine messages given in Anaheim, California, on September 23 through 28. These messages were previously published in a book entitled Elders' Training, Book 5: Fellowship concerning the Lord's Up-to-date Move and are included in this volume under the same title. 10.
