What if the saints of the Old Testament were all in modern day High School together? High school sophomore Eve St. Clair has accomplished what no other cheerleader has done in the history of Edensville High; she's been elected the next captain of the cheerleading squad and she will only be a junior! So what's the big deal? Hello?! It's a position that is usually held by a senior. The squad voted and she is ready to take over, but will it prove to be more than what she can handle? Will the pressures of being captain, her status in her social network and the fact that she is dating the new guy that transferred in from Palestine High be her undoing? How long will her friends stand by and watch as the once lighthearted and good girl image begins to take a turn when Eve finds herself being introduced to a lifestyle that is darker than she has ever known.
