With most of the police force of Upland, Arizona out of town, conman Burdick and his gang (Janet, his Navajo girlfriend; Rubin, a burglar 'extraordinaire' who lives with his mother; Carlos a car thief; Glover a loner living off government aid; and Doc, retired from Northern Arizona University and bored) bungle their way to a possible two-hundred-thousand-dollar cash booty hidden in a very strange place. They set up camp in a dilapidated barn where they confront and contend with Obama (an exceptionally large rooster and his hens, the Dixie Chicks).
