Has the Christian church been infiltrated by unholy spirits masquerading as the Holy Spirit? That is the question being asked by the author and answered by the research undertaken for this book. Definitions on what constitutes spirituality are being rewritten not just in the world in general but more frighteningly for the Christian in the church. Chapter Eight deals with some of the possible reasons for the paradigm shift in spiritual perceptions and the revising of definitions of spirituality in societies of the world in general, continuing in Chapter Nine with the impact this has had on how the Pentecostal, Charismatic and Neo-Pentecostal communities today view spiritual matters. The ancient magical arts and practices i.e. divination, sorcery, spiritism, necromancy, shamanism and witchcraft are easily identifiable in Pentecostal, Charismatic and Neo-Pentecostal churches for those who care to look objectively. From the deception of the New Age Movement, the western face of Hinduism, to the visualization of mind control techniques the whole range of occultic activity can be observed. The author uses the Scriptures i.e. The Bible as a plumbline against which all spirit activity is measured. Miracles and magic are cited in the Scripture and in the records of history down the centuries as working side by side and so there is a wealth of information which has been researched to compare miracles and magic through the ages. This book examines Scriptural cases of magic and also miracles i.e. act of God both in the Old and New Testaments in an effort to compare and answer the question "is it possible to mistake the work of another spirit for the work of The Holy Spirit?" It also deals with the question of how people claiming to be God''s people, committed Christians could have become involved with pagan magic, looking at Scriptural instances from Israel in the Old Testament to the churches in the New Testament in an attempt to gain further understanding of how
