In the silence of my soul's darkest night-during incarceration and inner turmoil-I began to sense a higher purpose weaving through my suffering. I came to believe that every human soul carries a spark of the divine Creator, a reflection of God's own Spirit within. This realization turned my "mortal wound" from a mark of shame into a source of illumination. Indeed, as the Sufi mystic Rumi observed, "The wound is the place where the Light enters you."
