In a small midwestern city a house with only dogs in it becomes the heart of a mystery. The owners have been gone for months and no one knows where they went. A young man named Greg is being paid to feed the dogs and let them out of the house to exercise every day. While riding his bike to the house one day he encounters Dorothy, an elderly lady who lives near him, and Les, a grumpy middle-aged man. He tells them about the Dog House and Dorothy becomes quite concerned. She asks to see the house. Greg has to ask a friend, Vanessa, who also lives nearby, to bring her van and give the whole group a ride. After feeding the dogs, Dorothy proposes an idea. She suggests that since they all live on Oak Street, they should form a club of lonely people who go out to lunch or other activity once a week. Another potential member, Chandra, comes to the door. She lives in the house next door and is curious about the dogs. While they are talking about the club, they hear a moan come from somewhere in the house. They joke about it being a ghost, but none of them believe in the supernatural. Are the missing owners the only mystery of the house, or is there more? Will the Oak Street Adventure Club become paranormal investigators?
