If you identify as an OverThinker, people-pleaser, or perfectionist, welcome to the club. Throughout my life, I have strived to "have it all." I was married, had three children, owned my own home, had a big job in Hollywood as a television executive, and juggled as fast as I could. But along with my busy life, I also suffered from chronic headaches, stomachaches, insomnia, and muscle tension. I was a workaholic, hypochondriac, anxious, high-functioning mess. My life was a constant race, a never-ending pursuit of perfection. I was so consumed by creating a 'perfect' life that I never had the time to truly enjoy it. In an attempt to mitigate my stress, I moved my family to Hawaii for a more idyllic life, but like the old saying goes, "No matter where you go, there you are." So, eventually, I had to learn how to manage my mind and body and how to be present in my life so that I could start loving my life... instead of just surviving it. This book is a compilation of everything I studied, learned, and now practice as a wife, mother, and full-time life coach.
