Abby Lunay is a private detective with a criminal past and her girlfriend, Gina Sorrentino, is putting her life back together. Meanwhile, Police Detective Neil Browne, who has named his ulcer after Abby, is working a case he can't understand. The killer he's chasing is mind-blowing... literally. He's so desperate for progress, he agrees to meet with Abby (with a pocketful of antacids.) "The Psychic Assassin" - imagine Douglas Adams teaming up with Agatha Christie to write a romantic comedy framed around a supernatural thriller, but Agatha gets fed up with the one-liners and storms out. This is a romantic comedy with that typical "girl meets girl whose rappelling line is stuck outside of her 12th floor apartment window in the rain" story you've probably read 100 times. Okay, maybe a dozen. Or once. Okay, fine, this is something completely new. But you'll still laugh, because it wouldn't be a rom-com if you didn't.
