Mark Henschen married to Pat Henschen and is retired as the President and Publisher of the Arizona Daily Star in Tucson Arizona. He also served as group circulation director for 16 properties in Howard Publications from 1996 until the Lee acquisition in 2002. Previously he was the circulation director in Munster Indiana and Mattoon Illinois.
Mark received a bachelor’s in marketing degree and a master in business administration degree from Eastern Illinois University, graduating with Honor.
He served as President of the Central States Circulation Manager’s Association and won the Young Circulation Executive of the Year Award in 1992 and the NAA Circulator of the year, 75k to 150k for 2003. Mark has been a speaker for the Inland Press Association, Swift, Pioneer, Pulitzer, NAA, C.S.C.M.A., N.I.C.E, O.C.M.A, C.C.M.A, M.A.C.M.A.,C.W.C.M.A, T.C.M.A., A.A.J.A., M.P.A., S.N.P.A. and I.N.M.A.
