In the middle of their joy, the sorcerer re-appears in their lives ready to cast torment on their happiness. It isn't long after that word comes to Longinus that Rome is sending cohorts of Roman soldiers to his sanctuary with intent to kill them all. He must find a way to save the followers and protect his family. For the first time Longinus experiences fear. Not for himself, but for those he loves.
