Chuckie and Douggie, two spotted rescue dogs make their furever home in Lakeside Village. When the neighborhood dogs make fun of them, the boys set off to find the purpose for their lives, and the meaning of their spots. Together with the neighborhood watch owls, gossipping turkeys, and spy squirrels, the boys navigate the neighborhood with its inherent dangers and life lessons to learn the lessons of life and community.
