C. Original analyses as to the costs and as to the economic and political effects of the pro posed seaway were then made from this basic material. Data from such sources were believed to be the most authentic information on the subject. Of necessity, this study has reached out far beyond the confines Of the Niagara Frontier, because every port along the Great Lakes and the major ports of the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans and the Gulf of Mexico, the railroads.
