It's been five years since Detective Vic Lenoski took early retirement to help raise his granddaughter. But the shooting of an elderly man outside a cemetery reawakens his detective instincts. The victim is famous for a string of brazen armed robberies during the 1980s, and as Vic knows, the stolen money was never recovered. Offered a job with the Allegheny County Police-and urged by his wife to start working again-Vic is soon assigned the case. But when the killer strikes a second time, Vic realizes the only way to catch the murderer is to uncover the secrets surrounding that 1980s crime spree.
