After a few drinks at the local bar, a group of locals reveal stories with a supernatural slant related to their own experiences in an attempt to impress Valerie, a young woman from Dublin who recently moved into a haunted residence. The stories are reminiscent of the popular preoccupations of Irish folklore: ghosts, fairies and mysterious happenings. After most of the men have shared a story, Valerie turns the tables with her own chilling story, which just so happens to be the reason she left Dublin.
