The Lord focused my attention, in 2011, on how I was off track. Way off track. Although I was a highly trained evangelical missiologist, I did not understand the Great Commission of Jesus Christ! That's like a mathematician not grasping 2+2=4. So, what did I do when I was confronted by this reality? By His grace, I humbled myself and repented. I, then, devoted my life to discovering what New Testament Discipleship was. What it meant to Jesus and His 1st century disciples. I reasoned - How can I fulfill His Great Commission to disciple the nations if I do not rightly understand what it means to be a disciple, myself? So, I researched the Scriptures and many books, both Christian and Jewish. My conclusions and applications have been carefully written in several books. While doing my research, I discovered that I was not alone! There were many others being led by God to ask the same questions and arrive at the same answers! And, then, I was drawn into the global fellowship of thousands who were seeing the huge gap between today's Christianity and New Testament Christianity bridged - by returning to New Testament discipleship. In God's wonderful providence, we have been united in the miraculous phenomenon known as Disciple Making Movements. The DMMs of today are the most powerful, multiplying, transformational, global Kingdom movements since the book of Acts!
