Already Babylon is the greatest of all cities, filled with terraced gardens with flora seen no where else in the world, waterfalls that flow through buildings and out windows, ziggurats gilded in silver and gemstone, temples so beautiful they outshine any artwork or sculpture placed within, and a thousand other astonishments, but the people in the markets talk like this new work may be a wonder that makes all others look like ash and dust. Why I should be chosen for such a grand and illustrious project is beyond me, when all the foremen and architects in Babylon would gladly tear each other apart for such an assignment. Of course, Nimrod is not known for his typical choices in any area of his kingship, but rather for his total success in whatever he chooses to pursue. First known as a great hunter, and then a great king, and now as the great Hunter King, there is very little that can survive Nimrod’s focus. I shall count my blessings that having fallen in Nimrod’s sight, he sees me as an asset, and not an obstacle to overcome. I only wish I knew why.
