Toronto is the biggest Canadian city and 5th largest city in North America after Mexico City, New York, Los Angeles and Chicago. In 1998 the rapidly growing Toronto and six other communities are merged to form a new Mega-city, otherwise known as the GTA (Greater Toronto Area).
