Viola finds out what a difference a day can make and that things are never as bad as they may seem. One day things are not looking so good for Viola. First, it's almost summer and her best friend has moved away. Then she hears her mom and dad talking in the kitchen about money, the broken tractor, and how Mr. Budget is cranky. Now she may not get to go on vacation. Then the next day her lonely bus ride becomes a complete round-up. Upon getting to school things really get interesting and Viola's life will never be the same.
