Tanya R. Crawford, mother, widow and a native of Oakland, California. Lifetime membership and commitment to local churches, Coordinator of Women's Ministry, Assistant Sunday School Superintendent, and church choir member. Work and volunteer experiences have laid the foundation for much of life opportunities. She has nineteen years in social services; ten years with Oakland Unified School District as Parent Advocate and Violence Prevention Coach. A volunteer at camp Wilmont Sweeney located on the campus of Juvenile Hall with the Alameda County Probation department from 2002 to 2005. The last several years she had been devoted to In Home Support Services always sharing the love of Jesus. She is presently retired and serving as a woman of prayer and motivational speaker. Tanya resides with daughter Rachel and "Tony" the beloved beagle.
