A street near Versailles, Kentucky, called Frogtown, inspired this story. The book involves two curious and friendly children, Jessie and Tara, who live on Frogtown Street and a lonely Jordanian prince who lives in a mansion near them. The prince takes the children and their parents on a tour of his mansion. During the tour his pet, Froggie, disappears. As the group searches for Froggie they visit various rooms in the prince's mansion. Each room is named after a different country or place and has cultural artifacts and decorations unique and special to it. The children are intrigued and excited to learn about so many cultures.
