Edward, a put together salesman for a local brewery, gets his life turned upside down when Thomas, his tech billionaire friend spirits him away to work for his data analytics company Mantiss. Even with all the trials and tribulations, the bacchanalia and the partying make Mantiss seem like a paradise. The other CEO, Cary, starts to look like a cult leader, the company is blowing through billions of dollars on expensive accounts, and everyone there is throwing their earnings around and living life like there’s no tomorrow.
