Miriam is based in the 1800's. It is the story of a young woman's life as a single Christian who is being pressured by her family to find a suitable husband. When Miriam isn't successful, her family sends her to Philadelphia to live with her Grandmother Carol. After several years, and no success Miriam returns to her family with her Grandmother.
